I’m gimpy.

So I tried to play softball on Monday night and not only did I go 0 for 2 but I also managed to pull my hamstring running down to first trying to leg a single out of my feeble grounder. It’s the same hammy I first injured playing basketball years ago and reinjured during jiu jitsu about 2 years ago. Totally sucks. One minute you’re moving, then you feel a *pop* and suddenly your leg shuts down in agonizing pain. Now I have to walk the handicap ramps instead of using stairs, squat instead of leaning over to pick stuff up off the ground and sit on the edge of my seat so the edge of the seat cushion doesn’t dig into my hamstring. To make matters worse we had a fire drill at the office yesterday. Good thing it doesn’t hurt too much walking down stairs or else those 18 flights would have crippled me. Shit, it sucks getting old; I can’t even run 90 feet without injuring myself anymore! 🙁
