I’m Not Crying Anymore

It’s allergy season again. But this year I may have a new remedy in my arsenal. I was in CVS looking for some eye drops this weekend and saw a “Hot Product” tag on something called Zaditor. Apparently it was prescription-only up until January of this year, kind of like how Claritin became over the counter after X years as a prescription medication. Anyway I picked up a bottle, which ain’t cheap at $14 for a bottle literally the size of a thimble. But remarkably, it actually works. Really well. It’s an antihistimine eye drop that lasts 12 hours. Normally during April and May I start each day off with my eyes all red and watery and my eyelids so puffy that I look like Rocky Balboa (“cut me Mick”). But one drop of Zaditor in each eye and in a few minutes, lo and behold, my eyes actually felt good again. Not itchy, not raw, no tearing, just kinda…normal! So if you suffer from seasonal allergies too, I highly recommend splurging the $14 on this stuff. My chinky eyes are thanking me; yours will too.
